LAB 3

LAB 3 - Thursday 2/22

In today's class, you will be shooting Project 1: Define A Place. 

You will be filming in pairs and editing individually. 

Your final edited video is due on Blackboard by Monday, March 4th.

Before Class:

• As you walk through the halls and around campus this week, think about possible places to shoot. Come to class with a few options in mind.
• Bring your SSD external hard drive to class. (see 'Getting Started' tab on main page of blog)

Watch For Inspiration:

• Regen (Rain), 1929
• H2O, 1929

In Class:

• With your partner, decide on a location and set up your camera.
• Canon M50 Quick Start
• Sony a3000 Quick Start
• Take about an hour to shoot your project.
• Return to class 20 minutes before we end to import your footage.

We will talk in class about how to organize your material into folders to help streamline the editing process. Here is a helpful resource: Keeping Your Files Organized.
